Island is a small coastal community nestled in the heart of Savannah,
Georgia and conveniently located near the Intracoastal water way. Dutch
Island is a private gated community with more than 480 single family
homes designed for gracious and humble living. Dutch Island covers an area of approximately 500 square acres,
surrounded by salt marshes of the Skidaway River, Herb River, Wilmington
River and Grimbal Creek. There are 8.83 miles of paved roads, 10 lagoons
and ponds, a community deep water dock, pool and tennis courts. The
island is managed by a Board of 9 Directors, all of whom are volunteers,
elected by the Association and reside on the Island. |
